SKF is a unique children’s charity alliance of social service organizations, hospitals, camps and schools caring for developmentally disabled children and at-risk youth. Many of our special needs children come from communities that cannot afford the one-on-one specialized care and expensive equipment necessary for them to thrive. Our unique children’s charity provides funding through your donations that make it possible to provide special needs programs that are opening new vistas for the educationally, emotionally and physically challenged.

Kids of Courage is a volunteer based non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with serious medical diagnoses.
These heroic children battle for their lives, sometime for every breath. They inspire others with their strength, tenacity and dazzling will to live. We are giving them the opportunity to live like other children and experience life in the best way imaginable. We help them forget the tubes and pumps and needles and the daily challenges and experience the thrills of carefree childhood happiness.

Child Life Society was created to help make life for children with cystic fibrosis (CF) as normal and enjoyable as possible. CF is a degenerative, genetic disease that afflicts families with a far greater frequency that most other ethnic groups. There is no present cure. Sadly, their days and nights are filled with wheezing, coughing, fatigue, and the constant burden of doctor appointments, respiration therapy, medication, and frequent hospitalizations.Children with CF suffer lifelong breathing difficulties due to the constant, heavy buildup of thick mucus in their lungs. Children with CF are also dangerously prone to life-threatening infections in their lungs.
Child Life Society provides desperately needed funds to pay for medical equipment, vitamins and food supplements, home care assistance, therapeutic respite, and emotional support.
Child Life Society also subsidizes trips for CF victims to Arizona. Here, the warm, dry air helps ease their breathing difficulties and allows the children to feel healthy and normal, if at least for a week or two.
